Workshop: Healing Presence: Contemplative Meditation for Self-care

Loading Events

API Care and Counselling is happy to organise this workshop to help participants explore the differences between mindfulness and contemplative practices, and delve into the spiritual roots of contemplative meditation

Over the last decade, mental health services have promoted meditation for self-care, but these practices do not typically include Christian contemplative meditation. In this workshop, led by a pastor and a clinical psychologist, participants will explore the differences between mindfulness and contemplative practices, and delve into the spiritual roots of contemplative meditation.

The workshop offers practical skills for integrating contemplation into daily self-care routines and uncovers its profound benefits for spiritual formation. Join the discussion to address common challenges in maintaining a regular contemplative practice and work towards an enriched spiritual journey of holistic wellness.
