API Care and Counselling is happy to organise this community event to to raise white rice, brown rice, and oats for vulnerable families in South-east district.
Walk-for-Health is an initiative by South-East Community Development Council (SECDC) to invite the community to promote healthier living while enabling the public to contribute to a meaningful cause. As part of the community within South-east district, API Care and Counselling has contributed to similar initiative since 2018 by mobilizing our families, friends, and associates to walk or run to help vulnerable families residing in the South East District.
WHAT IS REQUIRED FOR PARTICIPATION
To participate in this event, simply register online with the required information, confirm your participation by making payment via PayNow, and complete the indemnity form.
On event day, ensure you are appropriately attired for the walk/run and be sufficiently hydrated prior to the commencement of the walk/run. We aspire to collectively complete a 5km route.
WHY YOU SHOULD COME FOR THE EVENT
Walk-for-Health 2026 is an effort by API Care and Counselling to raise supermarket vouchers for vulnerable families in our community. For every 1km walked, $1 in supermarket vouchers will be raised for senior beneficiaries in the South East district, with a collective target of 200,000km to support between 1,500 and 2,000 senior beneficiaries, each receiving $100 worth of supermarket vouchers fully funded by corporate and individual donors.
