The API Care and Counselling (APICC) is the professional counselling and community service arm of the Asian Pastoral Institute. It seeks to provide wholistic care for individuals and the community through its counselling and corporate services, workshops and talks, and community engagement.
Led by a multidisciplinary team of senior counsellors, psychologists and social workers, our blend of skills serves to wholistically address personal mental health, relationship and family issues. Singapore’s community is religiously-diverse, with some 80% claiming affiliation to a religious faith. To meet the needs of our community, APICC can offer evidence-based counselling and faith-based counselling services that are consistent with a client’s needs and requests. Our counsellors, psychologists, and social workers are equipped and experienced in journeying with our clients in their own faiths and spirituality.
What we do
In addition to counselling services, APICC offers retreats, training, and educational workshops to individuals, corporates, and self-help agencies. We also organise community building events aimed at promoting resilient and cohesive communities. These include fund raising events and the promotion of healthy activities for the community. APICC also mentors and supports youths in building resilient mental-health.

Who we are
Our supervisory staff are registered practitioners with their respective professional associations in Singapore and beyond. Each comes with years of professional experience. In addition, all our counsellors have at least a master’s degree in counselling, social work, or psychology; these regularly participate in community and volunteer programmes. All supervisors and counsellors are equipped to address spiritual concerns as well.
