DESCRIPTION:API Care and Counselling\, the community outreach arm of the Asian Pastoral Institute (API)\, is proud to organise this course to help couples who are contemplating or preparing to get married.\n\n\nABOUT THIS COURSE\n\n\n\n\nCURRICULUM\nMarriage is a life-long relationship and commitment. For this reason\, many couples plan for their lives together beyond the wedding day. This pre-marital counselling course covers the following pertinent topics: \n\nPersonality Differences\nRoles of Husband and Wife Intimacy that Builds a Marriage Communication\nConflict Resolution\nParenting\nMoney Matters\n\n\n\n\n\nDELIVERY MODE\n\n\n\n\n\nClassroom Teaching\nInteraction and Discussion\nGroup Activities\nQuestion and Answer\n\n\n\n\n\nTJTA PERSONALITY PROFILING\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Taylor-Johnson Temperament Analysis (TJTA) Profile will be administered individually to help couples better understand themselves and one another. Each participating couple will have a session with one of the instructors to be briefed on the result of the TJTA profiling. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nINSTRUCTORS\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe course will be taught by a multidisciplinary team of qualified professionals from the fields of counselling\, psychology and medicine who are accredited and registered in their respective fields of study. All senior instructors of the programme have at least 15 years of experience in helping couples prepare for marriage. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWHO SHOULD ATTEND\n  \n\n\n\n\nThe course is suitable for couples who are contemplating or preparing to get married.
